Moise Kean’s renaissance in Florence has caught the eye of several top clubs, and it’s not difficult to see why. The 24-year-old Italian striker has been electric this season under Raffaele Palladino, racking up 22 goals in 36 appearances across all competitions. To put that in perspective, it’s the same number of goals he scored across four years and 123 matches at Juventus.
His goal against Milan at San Siro — a poacher’s finish from a Dodò cross — encapsulated everything that’s working for him now: sharp instincts, clever movement, and a confidence long absent in Turin. “Even in the match at San Siro, the Italian striker was the protagonist of a goal worthy of a pure centre forward,” as Calcio Mercato noted.
It’s not just the goals. Kean has become the heartbeat of a Fiorentina side with European ambitions on two fronts — hunting down Champions League qualification through Serie A and chasing silverware in the Conference League.

Kean’s standout campaign comes with a twist: a €52 million release clause that becomes active for a two-week window between 1 and 15 July 2025. While Fiorentina are reportedly keen to renegotiate or remove the clause, the clock is ticking. “President Commisso… has been clear: there is the will to keep him in Viola, but every offer will be evaluated.”
That clause is not beyond the reach of England’s wealthiest clubs. Newcastle United, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur have all been linked, with Calcio Mercato revealing that “the Magpies have already made the first direct contacts with the player’s agent to get ahead of the competition.”
Even without invoking the clause this year, clubs can negotiate with Fiorentina directly. If Kean continues at this pace, they’ll need to act quickly — because other giants like Barcelona, Napoli and Milan are also monitoring developments.
For Arsenal, Tottenham, and Newcastle, Kean offers something different. He is still young but no longer raw. He’s rediscovered his cutting edge and is proving he can be a reliable goalscorer in a competitive league.
“Fiorentina will play their cards, but it is clear that Kean’s fate depends exclusively on their will,” as the original report stated. And when clubs of this calibre start circling, it’s hard for any player — or club — not to start thinking about a transfer.
Newcastle’s early move could give them the edge, particularly if they are looking to freshen their attack and plan beyond Callum Wilson. Spurs and Arsenal, too, may see Kean as a valuable addition, particularly as both look to bolster depth and plan long-term with Europe on their minds.

Fiorentina still believe they can qualify for the Champions League. They sit four points behind fourth place with fixtures still in hand. They are also eyeing success in the Conference League. These competitions could dictate how the summer plays out.
As Calcio Mercato pointed out, “before thinking about the future, there is a Champions League (for next year) and a Conference League to conquer. And for Kean’s fate it can make all the difference in the world.”
If Fiorentina secure elite European football, it may strengthen their case to keep Kean. If not, their resolve could weaken — and the doors to England may swing open.
For Arsenal, Kean would be a compelling option as a rotation or future-first choice striker. With Gabriel Jesus still facing injury concerns and the need for a more clinical option up front, Kean’s rediscovered form offers promise. His athleticism and Premier League experience from his Everton stint add further appeal.
Tottenham supporters may view Kean as a long-term partner or successor to Son Heung-min or Richarlison. His energy would suit Postecoglou’s pressing style, and Spurs’ recent track record with rejuvenating forwards makes this a potentially smart fit.
Newcastle fans might be the most excited. The club has already made contact with his agent, and with Callum Wilson nearing the latter stages of his Magpies tenure, Kean offers both a present threat and a future leader. He’s affordable by modern standards and could thrive with service from wide areas and midfield.
Whichever club moves first could get a player approaching his peak, hungry to prove that his revival in Florence isn’t a one-season wonder — but the start of something bigger.
