Paris Saint-Germain will travel to London to face Arsenal in a crucial Champions League semi-final first-leg at the Emirates Stadium on April 29.
Ahead of this important game, Luis Enrique's team registered their first loss of the Ligue 1 season against OGC Nice, following their 3-1 defeat at the Parc des Princes, ending their quest of a historical invincible Ligue 1 season.
Both sides already clashed earlier in this Champions League campaign as the Gunners eased past Les Parisiens 2-0 at the Emirates Stadium without Ousmane Dembélé due to disciplinary reasons
Though Mikel Arteta's side suffered from many injury setbacks in recent weeks, both sides are filled with star players. CChoosing who would make a combined XI between all these players is difficult, nonetheless, based on recent form, here is here a starting XI of the best current PSG and Arsenal players.
GK: Gianluigi Donnarumma - The Italian goalkeeper seemed to have turned a new leaf this season with Paris. He has proved to be decisive numerous times throughout their Europe campaign, playing a huge role to get the team to this point of the competition.
RB: Achraf Hakimi - The Morocco international is the best right-back in the world there is no match to his offensive and defensive qualities in this Arsenal's side.
CB: William Saliba - One of the best at his position in the world, though, the Frenchman suffered a slight deep of form recently, he makes the cut to our combined XI.
CB: Willian Pacho - The Ecuadorian is one of the best centre-backs in the world this season, unfortunately, it doesn't get highlighted enough.
LB: Nuno Mendes - His performances have been nothing short of amazing for Paris, whether it has been in domestic competitions or in Europe.
CDM: Declan Rice - One of Arsenal's leaders since he joined the club. His contribution in their qualification to the semi-final of the competition is largely due to his doing.
CM: Vitinha - The Portuguese is simply one of the best in Europe at his position, very few can dictate the pace of a game as he does, he is undoubtedly one of the main reasons of Paris' success this season.
CM: Martin Odegaard - The Norwegian is leading his side remarkably well this season. Joao Neves could have featured in this position but Arsenal's captain edged past.
RW: Bukayo Saka - The England international made his return in time to feature in both legs of the quarterfinal clash against Madrid. He then showcased how important he is for his side, playing a massive role in their qualification.
LW: Khvicha Kvaratskhelia - Since joining the club from Napoli in the winter transfer window, the Georgia international has imposed himself as one of their best player having almost an instant impact.
