At the start of the 2024-25 season, very few fans could have dreamed of the success that FC Barcelona are currently enjoying. After winning the Spanish Super Cup back in January, the Catalans have now also added Copa del Rey to their cabinet.

Meanwhile, the Blaugrana team remains on track to win another two trophies, i.e., La Liga and the UEFA Champions League. The recent cup triumph can prove to be pivotal in these two campaigns as well for Barcelona.

This is apparent from a report from Mundo Deportivo, which claims that even after winning Copa del Rey final against Real Madrid, and despite the fatigue they accumulated from playing 120 minutes in this game, the Catalan locker room is still hungry to win the remaining two titles and they now have set their eyes on the UCL.

Tomorrow, the Blaugrana side will play its first UCL semi-final since 2019, and a triumph in this stage of the competition would allow them to play their first UCL final since 2015.

The seriousness with which the team is approaching this upcoming game is apparent from the comments of several players and the coach himself about remaining focused on the Inter Milan tie and not indulging too much in the celebrations for the cup triumph.

As a result, all the available players returned to the training ground on Monday to start their preparations for the game against Inter Milan. The injured duo of Alejandro Balde and Robert Lewandowski was unable to participate in this session, but the fullback is expected to return for the second leg a week later.

Today, the team will have another training session to continue their preparations for the crucial game ahead. There is no doubt that the players would feel fatigued, but still, they are all driven to get another big win on Wednesday to continue their charge towards another UCL trophy, ten years after they last lifted it.
