Barcelona star Raphinha closed the gap on Liverpool star Mohamed Salah in an altogether noteworthy statistical category on Saturday.

This came by way of his efforts in Barca’s La Liga meeting with Celta Vigo.

And as alluded to above, owing to as much, Raphinha closed on Liverpool counterpart Mo Salah in the assist category.

As per statisticians Opta:

‘Since the start of 2024, only Mohamed Salah has provided more assists (29) among players in the top five European leagues in all competitions than Raphinha (26).’
