Over the years, João Félix has struggled to find a place where his talent shines, whether Atletico Madrid, Chelsea, Barcelona, or AC Milan. None of these moves have become a long-term home for the Portugal international.
Félix left Chelsea to go on loan to the Serie A side, but Milan’s decision to keep the player is unlikely, so he will return to Stamford Bridge with an uncertain future.
The question will be whether another club feels they can get the most out of the former SL Benfica youth product. He is only 25, so it’s not like he’s a player in the back end of his prime years.

In an interview with Milan Presse, Marcel Desailly said the Portuguese player should join a project that suits him. According to Desailly, PSG could be an interesting destination for Félix, whose contract with Chelsea runs until 2031.
“João Félix is a very talented player, but he still hasn’t found his place,” Desailly (h/t Le10Sport). “He’s been at Chelsea, Atletico Madrid, and now Milan without genuinely making a lasting impression. At this point in his career, he needs a club with a clear philosophy that can build its project around him and allow him to fully express his potential, which is still hard to see.
“I suggest Paris Saint-Germain for him. What João Félix lacks isn’t technique, but character. He’s not a leader. Right now, he’s not what Milan need, because he lacks the mentality to help revive the Rossoneri. And the feeling is mutual.”
