Current Leicester City manager Ruud van Nistelrooy hasn't been sacked yet. But many of us expect and forecast that scenario for the end of the season. Rumours exist over which boss could potentially come in. Many gaffers are named as potential suitors. Although, one Ex-Premier League player linked with the top Foxes job probably won't be coming. He's been all but ruled out of the King Power head coach race for this reason.
The race to be the next Leicester City manager is supposed hotting up. Well, that's the apparent case if we trust the media. That fact that the Foxes hierarchy haven't actually sacked abysmally performing current head coach Ruud van Nistelrooy means there is no race. Not yet, anyway. Though most of us fans, and journalists speculating on events, do expect the Dutchman to be relieved of duty on Filbert Way by June.
It would be rather curious for LCFC bosses to continue with van Nistelrooy as the team's gaffer after the atrocious part of the season he oversaw. However, RvN has not been dismissed by chairman Aiyawatt 'Khun Top' Srivaddhanaprabha or director of football Jon Rudkin as of the time of writing. Speculation over who may replace the former Manchester United man will continue on, as I'm sure anyone reading this will be aware.
Many names are reported to be on City's managerial wishlist. There is Sean Dyche, the one-time Burnley boss. Russell Martin, who managed Southampton (badly) during the early part of this campaign.
Sheffield Wednesday's Danny Rohl is another on the list, apparently. LCFC are also ostensibly eyeing England Under-21 leader Lee Carsley.
