Manchester City supporters have been handed their first look at a ‘real’ image of the club’s brand new 2025/26 home shirt spotted in store in the last few days.

Designers working on the former Premier League champions latest concepts are expected to once again go for a bold approach to Manchester City’s strips having maintained such a stance in their recently confirmed strips.

The ongoing campaign saw Manchester City supporters and players issued with four kits for the first time in the club’s history, as a European competition-only edition part-designed by Oasis’ Noel Gallagher became a fourth kit worn just twice.

A hugely popular away and third strip saw a 1999 play-off final-inspired edition released while another alternative brought about the return of a maroon and gold combination much to the delight of many fans.

And while a sash is expected to be implemented into designs for FIFA Club World Cup-exclusive kits this summer, a new image has revealed that a similar element has been built into the club’s next home shirt.

As per a new report from Footy Headlines, the first real picture of Manchester City’s upcoming 2025/26 home shirt has been spotted in store and subsequently leaked, with a predominantly sky blue look with black logos and white accents paired with a modern, textured white sash.

While the sash emblazoned across the front of Manchester City’s new shirt will appear for the first time on a home edition for the club, the design element has been utilised on several alternative kits historically.

Manchester City fans are said to expect the new home shirt to be dropped across stores online and on the ground at some stage in May ahead of the brand new season, while other shirts will be launched ahead of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.

Ahead of the summer tournament in the USA, it has been reported that Puma will collaborate with KidSuper Studios – a streetwear clothing brand based in Brooklyn – to launch special edition Manchester City shirts for the tournament featuring colours different from tradition.

Manchester City’s brand new ‘home’ shirt for the tournament will utilise a combination of white with a black and red sash, while Pep Guardiola’s players’ ‘away’ strip will see ‘neon sun’ paired with a black and neon yellow sash.
