Arsenal remain keen on signing Dean Huijsen from Bournemouth at the end of the season, and they will face competition from Liverpool and Chelsea.
Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that Arsenal remain keen on signing the 20-year-old defender, and they are pushing to get the deal done. They could use more quality and depth in the defensive unit, and the young defender would prove to be a solid long-term acquisition.
Romano said on YouTube: “Don’t forget about Arsenal, because Arsenal are also pushing. Arsenal are also there. Mikel Arteta wants one more top defender to add to the package. And so, for sure, Arsenal are also there. So Chelsea, Liverpool, Arsenal, these three clubs, for sure.”
He has proven himself to be an elite talent in the Premier League, and there is no doubt that he is good enough to play for the biggest clubs in the country. Huijsen has been labelled as ‘exceptional’ this season.

Arsenal are fighting for the league title and the Champions League. They will be an attractive destination for most players, and the young defender could be attracted to the idea of joining them.
Arsenal have done well to groom talented young players in recent years, and they could play a key role in the development of the Spanish defender as well.
Meanwhile, Liverpool could use defensive depth as well. The 20-year-old could be the ideal long-term replacement for club captain Virgil van Dijk. In the short term, he could be an alternative to Joe Gomez, who has struggled with injury problems. Gomez has been linked with a move away from Liverpool due to the lack of gametime as well.
As far as Chelsea are concerned, they have looked vulnerable defensively, and they need to replace players like Axel Disasi and Benoit Badiashile in the summer. Disasi is currently out on loan, and he could be sold permanently. Badiashile has been linked with an exit as well.
