The photo that Newcastle United fans had all really really wanted to see on Saturday night.

That is, REALLY wanted to see.

Yes, 13 days after United picked up a shiny trophy.

The first silverware in 56 years.

The first domestic trophy in 70 years.

Newcastle United becoming only the 15th English club to have won all three major domestic trophies.

What a performance as well at Wembley on Sunday 16 March 2025.

That wasn’t a fluke, a fortunate win.

Wembley saw Newcastle play by far the better game, dominant throughout.

Only a shame we were all forced to go through those nervy final few minutes, as the reality was that Newcastle United could have easily won by three or four.

It was all about character AND quality, Eddie Howe and his players did us proud.

A winning snapshot post-match (see above the dressing room one from Wembley).

Another photo =  The twenty first of this season.

The Newcastle United Head Coach introduced this tradition of a post-match everybody included photo following each victory, as he felt it had worked as a bonding exercise when he was at Bournemouth.

(It is actually the twenty third victory of the season for United but for whatever reasons, no winning photo after the win over AFC Wimbledon. Then at the Emirates, I think for sure that no post-match dressing room photo was done due to the fact the Arsenal semi-final tie was only at halfway.)

It is also a massive bonus just how much it winds up fans of certain other clubs and journalists.

‘Look at them, think they have won the Premier League, Champions League… (League Cup!!!) etc etc’

I absolutely love it.

Ten more Premier League games to go, so hopefully many more of these photos to come this season as NUFC aim for Champions League qualification.

Ahead of that though…

What a performance from the 300,000+ fans and all those others involved in making Saturday 29 March 2025 so very special.

A coming together of manager, players coaching staff, backroom staff and of course, the fans.

Events in the city centre and at the Town Moor eventually concluding with a very special bonus ‘dressing room’ photo.

What a moment, what an image!
