The photo that Newcastle United fans had all really really wanted to see on Wednesday night.
United taking the lead with a 14th minute Jacob Murphy wonderstrike.
Then after Nick Pope brilliantly dealt with and saved a penalty, Newcastle United turning on the turbo and obliterating Crystal Palace.
Three goals in a 15 minute spell simply demolishing Palace.
They went in at the break 4-0 down and lucky that Newcastle cruised the rest of the game and only added one more.
After Newcastle forced a mistake, Isak with a class finish from outside the box into the bottom corner.
A winning snapshot post-match.
Another photo = The twenty fifth one of this season.
The Newcastle United Head Coach introduced this tradition of a post-match everybody included photo following each victory, as he felt it had worked as a bonding exercise when he was at Bournemouth.
(It is actually the twenty seventh victory of the season for United but for whatever reasons, no winning photo after the win over AFC Wimbledon. Then at the Emirates, I think for sure that no post-match dressing room photo was done due to the fact the Arsenal semi-final tie was only at halfway.)
It is also a massive bonus just how much it winds up fans of certain other clubs and journalists.
‘Look at them, think they have won the Premier League / Champions League… etc etc’
I absolutely love it.
Six more Premier League games to go, so hopefully a fair few more of these photos to come this season.
Of course, this was a second in a row winning photo not featuring Eddie Howe.
Here’s hoping he makes a swift recovery and is back in the dugout ASAP.
