Sem Steijn is turning heads thanks to a superb season in the Eredivisie, and Inter and Roma are said to be among the teams that have gathered intel on him ahead of the summer. The 23-year-old leads the Dutch league in scoring despite being a midfielder. He has hit the net 23 times and provided 5 assists. He joined his current side in 2022 after growing up at ADO Den Haag and a pair of loan spells. His numbers aren’t a fluke, considering he scored 17 goals in 2023/2024 and 15 in 2021/2022 in the second division.

Feyenoord are currently leading the race to onboard Steijn over Inter and Roma. However, their offer has stopped short of the request. He has had decent success in Europe too, finding the target on 5 occasions in 19 matches in the Europa League group stage and the Champions League and Conference League playoffs. Instead, he doesn’t have any international caps under his belt.
