Josh Murphy has reached a significant milestone in the Championship, hitting 20 goal involvements for the first time in his career after providing two assists in Portsmouth’s 5-3 win over Norwich.
With 7 goals and 13 assists this season, he’s been a standout player for Pompey.
His 13 assists also see him joint-top with Tom Fellows as the players with the most assists in the division, further solidifying his role as a key creator for John Mousinh's side.
He joins the ranks of Cole Palmer and Ollie Watkins as the only English players with 20+ goal involvements across both the Premier League and Championship this season.
His brother Jacob Murphy at Newcastle, along with Burnley's Josh Brownhill and Coventry's Jack Rudoni, are all just one goal involvement away from joining this list, as they’re currently on 19.
