The visitors wasted no time in asserting their dominance at the Voith-Arena. In the 13th minute, Kane broke the deadlock with a sublime finish. The England captain received the ball from Michael Olise on the edge of the box, turned, and rifled a shot into the net, leaving Heidenheim goalkeeper Kevin Müller with no chance. Kane's powerful strike, clocked at 118.53 km/h, marked his 24th Bundesliga goal of the season, further cementing his place at the top of the scoring charts.

Bayern's dominance continued, and they doubled their lead just six minutes later. Konrad Laimer found himself through on goal after a brilliant pass from Serge Gnabry. The Austrian midfielder kept his composure, calmly slotting the ball past Müller to make it 2-0.
Heidenheim struggled to contain Bayern's attacking prowess, with the visitors enjoying 64 per cent possession and peppering the home side's goal with shots.

The first half onslaught continued as Coman made it 3-0 in the 36th minute. A flowing move saw Kane set up Guerreiro, whose initial shot was saved by Müller. However, the rebound fell kindly to Coman, who showed great composure to find the net from a tight angle. The goal effectively ended the contest before half-time, with Heidenheim looking shell-shocked and Bayern in complete control.

Any hopes of a Heidenheim comeback were extinguished early in the second half when Kimmich added a fourth goal in the 56th minute. The Bayern captain, who had been pulling the strings in midfield all game, found himself in space on the edge of the box. He unleashed a powerful, precise shot that flew past Müller and into the bottom corner, putting the final nail in Heidenheim's coffin.

Despite the scoreline, Heidenheim showed moments of fight. Their best chance came in the 65th minute when Sirlord Conteh found himself one-on-one with Bayern goalkeeper Jonas Urbig. However, Urbig made an excellent save to deny Conteh and preserve Bayern's clean sheet.
Kimmich's performance epitomised Bayern's dominance here. The midfielder controlled the tempo of the game, his excellent passing range and vision on display throughout. His goal was the cherry on top of a commanding display, with a pass completion rate of over 90 per cent and several key interceptions. Kimmich's leadership on the pitch was evident, as he guided his team to a convincing victory that extended Bayern's lead at the top of the Bundesliga table.
