Paris Saint-Germain are uncertain about their goalkeeping situation, with Gianluigi Donnarumma’s future still in the air. If the club decides to part ways with the 25-year-old, they’ll need to look for a replacement in the transfer market.
While Donnarumma is under contract until 2026, his past mistakes have raised concerns, prompting PSG to explore other long-term options. That said, his strong performance against Liverpool in the UEFA Champions League Round of 16 did earn him some goodwill.
The club is focused on investing in young French talent, and this summer could be the right time to move on from their current starting goalkeeper.
According to a previous report from SportsZone, PSG are eyeing LOSC Lille’s Lucas Chevalier as a potential target. However, any move will depend on whether they can offload Donnarumma, who has yet to fully convince manager Luis Enrique.

The Sun reports that Manchester United are looking to sign either Senne Lammens from Royal Antwerp or Chevalier from Lille, as André Onana is set to move to Saudi Arabia.
Le Parisien recently reported that despite stiff competition, PSG holds an edge in signing Chevalier, thanks to sporting advisor Luis Campos.
Campos was instrumental in helping the LOSC goalkeeper land his first professional contract at 16, and they’ve kept in touch and maintained a strong relationship ever since. Transfermarkt puts the player’s transfer value at €30 million.
