Manchester United sensation Ayden Heaven suffered an injury in the 3-0 victory over Leicester City last weekend.

Heaven arrived at Old Trafford from Arsenal in January for a modest £1.5 million fee and he is already proving to be a steal.

The 18-year-old made his first Premier League start against the Foxes.

He was United’s best player in the first half, making two successful tackles and winning six duels.

He achieved 90 percent passing accuracy and delivered a crucial last-man challenge to deny Leicester a clear-cut chance.

Unfortunately for the Red Devils, he was injured in the second half and had to be stretchered off.

United fans feared the worst, with concerns that the teenager had suffered a serious setback.

Heaven was later spotted leaving the stadium on foot, albeit with his leg in a protective brace.

Heaven has provided an update on his Instagram: “Thank you guys for all the support. I have read your messages and I am doing really well and recovering fast.”

Red Devils supporters will be hoping for a speedy recovery, as Heaven has already shown he belongs at the highest level.

Despite his age, the centre-back has made a lasting impression in his brief time at United.

Manager Ruben Amorim has already spoken glowingly about the defender and he looks destined to have a big future.

In the absence of Lisandro Martinez and Harry Maguire, Heaven could earn a regular place in the senior set-up.

If he proves his worth before the season ends, United may rethink their summer plans and hold off on signing a marquee centre-back.
