Dutch national coach Ronald Koeman has no personnel problems heading into the Nations League quarter-final first-leg clash against Spain. According to reports from Voetbal International, the national side are training with a full selection the day before the match at Feyenoord’s De Kuip.
All 24 selected players of the Dutch national team showed up for training on Wednesday afternoon, of which only the first fifteen minutes were public. Frenkie de Jong was also there, with the Barcelona midfielder having already shown up for training on Tuesday. He was initially a doubt, as last Sunday he didn’t play against Atlético Madrid due to illness.
The Netherlands will play the first leg in Rotterdam-South on Thursday evening and the return leg will be in Valencia next Sunday. Jurriën Timber, Tijjani Reijnders, Mats Wieffer and Xavi Simons are on edge for the Dutch team, with a view to the match in Spain. They are suspended after previously receiving a yellow card at De Kuip. Eight players from Spain will also have to be on their guard.
