Eric Cantona is one of the most pivotal figures in Premier League history, and owner of the arguably the most famous quote, which he produced 30 years ago today.
The mercurial Frenchman's most infamous moment came in January 1995 when he kung-fu kicked a Crystal Palace fan who had racially abused the forward, and he was subsequently banned by Manchester United for nine months.
However, on April 1, Cantona won an appeal against a two-week prison sentence, and dropped this brilliant line on the press afterwards.
While it was said to be philosophical, the man himself claimed it was maybe his subconscious talking in response to constant criticism from the media.
Regardless, it was another moment to remember from Cantona, who was the catalyst for United's glory years under Sir Alex Ferguson both before and after his ban.
