Fabio Paratici will not be the new sporting director at Milan according to Friday’s reports, as the Rossoneri have decided that the ‘legal obstacles’ surrounding his proposed appointment would be too tricky to overcome. Here is what the former Juventus and Tottenham executive can and can’t do while serving his ban.
Paratici is still serving the 30-month suspension he was handed by the FIGC in 2023, a decision which was later extended worldwide by FIFA. He will not be able to formally begin work with any club in any FIFA-governed nation until July 20.
While Paratici is still prohibited from taking charge of any meetings or talks with any potential new players, there are still one or two minor tasks that he is still allowed to carry out before his ban is up in July.

According to Sky Sport Italia, Paratici is still allowed to carry out administrative tasks, is allowed to visit club offices and is permitted to watch training sessions, however, he is not currently contracted to any club after resigning from his position with Tottenham in 2023.
The former Milan target is not allowed to represent any club in any sporting sense, is not allowed to participate in any activity involving a federal body, he is not allowed to enter any dressing room – at the stadium or training ground – and, most importantly, is not allowed to hold any meetings with players, agents or club staff.
