A trio of Barcelona stars led the way in attempting to comfort teammate Dani Olmo in training on Wednesday afternoon.
This, of course, comes amid what have proven a difficult last couple of days for the summer arrival in Catalunya’s capital.
Olmo, for his part, saw the deadline for his registration with La Liga for the 2nd half of the campaign come and pass without news last night.
As much means that the summer arrival in Barcelona is no longer eligible to line out for Hansi Flick’s side in competitive fixtures.
Joan Laporta and the Blaugrana brass are continuing to work tirelessly behind the scenes in an effort to resolve the situation, confident of finding a solution over the days ahead.
But Olmo, all the while, is understandably struggling.
As per a report from Diario AS, after reporting to The Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper for training today, ‘the footballer seemed sad and depressed, aware that right now no one is able to foresee the course of the upcoming events’.
A number of Olmo’s teammates were therefore quick to rally around the 26-year-old, with AS pointing towards Pedri, Gavi and Raphinha as those ‘who were most affectionate, consoling and encouraging at all times’.
