Liverpool will have a busy summer transfer window at the end of the season.
Arne Slot’s team are set to become the Premier League champions this season but they would have to make some big additions to their squad in the summer transfer window.
The Reds are currently working towards extending the contracts of both Virgil Van Dijk and Mohamed Salah while Trent Alexander-Arnold is expected to leave the club to join Real Madrid.
A left-back may also be needed due to the poor performances of Andy Robertson this season.
According to Teamtalk, Liverpool are favourites to sign Bournemouth left-back Milos Kerkez in the summer with the player ready to make a move to a big club.
Kerkez has had a sensational season for Andoni Iraola’s side and interest has increased from Liverpool to sign him this summer.
For the left-back position, Kerkez is Liverpool’s leading target and the player feels it is time for him to make the next step in his career and play for a team who challenges for the biggest honours in football.
Slot wants more competition for Robertson in the left-back position and with Robertson now 31-years-old, the Reds are planning to secure a long term replacement of him.

Bournemouth have realised that it would be hard to keep the player at the club beyond this summer but they are still ready to make life difficult for Liverpool.
Iraola’s side are expected to demand £45m for the talented, young left-back.
Liverpool are in a good situation financially having not made a lot of signings in recent transfer windows.
Man United may provide competition to their Premier League rivals in the race to sign Kerkez but the Red Devils have other priorities. They signed Patrick Dorgu in the winter transfer window and they are not expected to chase Kerkez actively.
Kerkez would be the ideal left-back for Liverpool and a worthy replacement of Liverpool legend Robertson.
