Serie A side Atalanta got knocked out of the Champions League yesterday and it got ugly after the game, as a war has waged on involving Gian Piero Gasperini and Ademola Lookman.

Gasperini had described Lookman as the worst penalty taker at the moment and this saw Lookman respond with a post on social media, hitting back at La Dea’s boss.

Fabrizio Romano has reported that Lookman plans to leave Atalanta in the summer and that has been the case for a while now. The club will soon speak to Gasperini about his strong comments about the forward but that is not expected to change any thing about the player’s future.

It is also reported that the player had his plans about the decision to leave the club in the summer of 2024 as well, as Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain were linked with a move for the Nigerian after he was dropped from a game at the end of the summer transfer window.
