Hakan Calhanoglu was Simone Inzaghi’s first choice in the title-deciding event.

But the Turkish playmaker had to come off after only 35 minutes, handing Asllani an unexpected chance to shine.

Instead, the 22-year-old derailed his status at Giuseppe Meazza with a substandard display.

As a result, a summer exit could be on the cards.
