The 26-year-old defender, who came through Arsenal’s academy system and made her senior debut in 2015 at just 16, has become a central figure both on and off the pitch in recent seasons.
It is believed to be a three-year deal.
Wubben-Moy has made 143 senior appearances for the club, scoring 10 goals. She spent two years in the United States playing for the North Carolina Tar Heels before returning to Arsenal in 2020.
Since then, she has added an FA Cup and three League Cups to her honours list and was named Arsenal’s 2023/24 Player of the Season after a superb season.

At international level, she has earned 13 caps for England, featuring in the squads that won the 2022 UEFA Women’s Championship and reached the final of the 2023 FIFA World Cup.
In July 2024, she was honoured with the Charlton Award for her work in developing the future of the game, recognition of her commitment to player rights and equity across football.

Speaking after signing her new contract, Wubben-Moy said: “I feel a huge amount of pride, excitement and optimism to once again put pen to paper at this special football club. Arsenal is the club I want to win with and I feel this new contract comes at a time in my career where my ambitions are matched by my abilities on the pitch. I’m determined to make this next chapter count.”
Renée Slegers, head coach, said: “We’re so happy that Lotte has signed a new contract. Lotte is a top defender who has shown significant progression in recent years, and will continue to play an important role as we pursue our shared goal of competing for the highest honours in the game.”

Clare Wheatley, Director of Women’s Football, said: “We’re very proud of Lotte’s journey from our academy to our first team, through to this new contract here with us. Lotte is a wonderful role model for all young players – an example of how hard work, strong values and determination are the platform for success. We know that she will continue to give all of herself to Arsenal Football Club, both on pitch and of course in her consistent support of our wider community.”
Wubben-Moy is currently sidelined after picking up an injury in training ahead of Arsenal’s 5–0 win over Tottenham. She underwent a scan on 17 February and withdrew from the England squad shortly afterwards. She has not been available for selection since.
Even while recovering from injury, Wubben-Moy remains a key presence around the club. In a season that’s demanded leadership as much as performance, Arsenal’s decision to extend her stay speaks to her importance in both.
