Arsenal are looking to improve their attacking unit at the end of the season, and they have identified Viktor Gyokeres as a potential target.
The 26-year-old has established himself as one of the best strikers in the world, and he has 44 goals to his name this season. The Sporting CP star has 11 assists as well.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the player’s agents were in England earlier this month to hold talks regarding a potential move. However, the report does not mention whether those talks were with the Gunners.
Gyokeres is on the radar of multiple clubs this summer.
GMS claims that Arsenal sporting director Andrea Berta is a fan of the Swedish international striker, and it remains to be seen whether the Gunners can get the deal done. He will cost around €65-70 million in the summer.

It is no secret that Arsenal need a quality striker in the summer. Gabriel Jesus and Kai Havertz have not been able to score goals consistently, and they need to bring in an upgrade. Arsenal cannot hope to win major trophies without a reliable striker. Gyokeres could transform them in the attack.
The 26-year-old is a world-class player who deserves to compete at the highest level, and the move to the Premier League would be ideal for him. He has proven himself in Portugal, and he will look to take the next step now. Joining a big club like Arsenal would be the ideal challenge for him.
The reported asking price seems reasonable for a player of his quality, and he could easily justify the investment in the long term.
Meanwhile, he is not the only striker Arsenal are keeping apps on, and
