Jurrien Timber and Thomas Partey have been spotted with the Arsenal squad ahead of their Champions League game against AS Monaco tonight, according to former Sky Sports producer Connor Humm.

Timber and Partey were both absent from Tuesday’s open training session. While there has been no official update as to why, many people suggested they may have suffered injuries.

However, they could feature against the Ligue 1 club at Emirates Stadium after being spotted in training.

Riccardo Calafiori, Gabriel Magalhaes and Oleksandr Zinchenko also missed the training session, while Ben White and Takehiro Tomiyasu are injured.

The Gunners are looking to finish in the top eight at the end of the opening phase of the new Champions League format.

A win tonight will boost their chances of securing an automatic spot in the round of 16.

They have won three, drawn one and lost one of their opening five games of the league phase, and are currently tenth in the table.

Arsenal will fancy their chances of victory against a Monaco side with two defeats in their last three games.

Picking up wins in their last two games against Dinamo Zagreb and Girona should not be difficult.
