Arsenal have revealed that more than 21,000 tickets have already been sold for the home leg of their UEFA Women’s Champions League semi-final tie against Lyon.

The Gunners announced the news via a post on their official club X account this afternoon.

Arsenal secured their place in this season’s UEFA Women’s Champions League semi-finals last week. They trailed Spanish side Real Madrid 2-0 from the first leg of their quarter-final tie but The Gunners put in an impressive performance at the Emirates Stadium to overturn the deficit and win the second leg 3-0. Arsenal’s reward for their victory is a semi-final tie against eight-time European champions Lyon.

The North Londoners swiftly opened ticket sales for the home leg of their semi-final showdown following the conclusion of their quarter-final against Real Madrid and it has been revealed that more than 21,000 tickets have been snapped up in just four days. Should interest continue at a similar rate in the coming days, it seems likely that Arsenal will run out in-front of a sell-out crowd at the Emirates Stadium in three weeks’ time.

Arsenal will be at home in the first leg of their semi-final tie on Saturday 19 April 2025 before contesting the return leg in Lyon eight days’ later. The winners will face either FC Barcelona or Chelsea in the UEFA Women’s Champions League final on Saturday 24 May 2025.
