AST also calls for price freeze on season-tickets for 2025-26 season
The Arsenal Supporters’ Trust (AST) have called on the club to freeze ticket prices and introduce a 19-game Premier League season ticket.
A season ticket for Arsenal fans at Emirates Stadium this season was made up of 19 Premier League games and the four Champions League league phase matches.
The cheapest season ticket for an adult came in at £1,073 and the most expensive was £2,050.50.
Concessions of at least 50 per cent were available for junior, senior and disability access members. There was also a 25 per cent concession for young adults.
The AST have proposed for a new season ticket to be introduced for next season, which would give fans the option just to purchase a seat for the 19 Premier League.
The AST believe this would reduce the upfront cost of a season ticket, enable those who struggle to attend evening games to have the option not to purchase a full season ticket and increase the supply of tickets available for silver and red members to purchase for cup games.
The AST said: “We have been encouraged by this option having been recognised by the club as one that could be beneficial and reassurance that it was being seriously considered. We hope it will be introduced for season 2025-26.”
Ticketing discussions will be part of conversations held by the Arsenal Advisory Board, which has elected supporter representatives from different groups.
Meetings also included representatives from the club, with executive vice-chair Tim Lewis, managing director Richard Garlick and chief commercial officer Juliet Slot all present at one earlier this season.
The AST have also urged Arsenal to apply a freeze on general ticket prices for next season and continue with concessionary ticketing.
The Football Supporters’ Association have launched a campaign this year - ‘Stop Exploiting Loyalty’ - that focuses on fair ticket prices.
The AST have not felt the need to participate in any protests so far given positive discussions with Arsenal.
