As the January transfer window approaches, speculation about Randal Kolo Muani’s future at Paris Saint-Germain is heating up. The French forward has seen limited playing time this season, fueling rumors that he could be on his way out of the club.
Things took a surprising turn when Kolo Muani was left out of PSG’s matchday squad for their game against Olympique Lyonnais, adding more uncertainty to his place in Luis Enrique’s plans.
With just 453 minutes of action across all competitions, Kolo Muani has struggled to secure a consistent starting spot. The Evening Standard reported on Tuesday that Arsenal might be offered the chance to sign Kolo Muani next month, though the club is still weighing its options in light of their winger injury crisis.
On Monday, Mikel Arteta confirmed that star Bukayo Saka will be sidelined for “many weeks” due to a hamstring tear sustained in Saturday’s 5-1 win over Crystal Palace.
As a result, Arsenal is one of several clubs expected to be offered the opportunity to sign the France international on loan in January, although it remains unclear whether they will pursue the deal.

Despite Arsenal being linked to Kolo Muani and other attacking players to help replace Saka in the short-term, Martin Keown has told Mikel Arteta to use Ethan Nwaneri at right wing to help with the loss of Saka.
“I don’t know of a player that has created more chances for his colleagues in the Premier League this season, so he [Saka] is obviously going to be a really big miss,” the former defender said in an interview with talkSPORT. “It’s up to someone to step up, maybe Nwaneri, who has been playing in the [Martin] Odegaard role, maybe he could come in to the front line and give us something different.
“Jesus has suddenly scored five goals in a week, that’s been a long time coming, so he needs to sustain that. But it’s in that final third where there needed to be more creativity and it could be less now as you’re losing one of the best players in the Premier League.”
According to TBR Football, PSG could consider loaning out the forward with an option to buy. The player is reportedly open to a move to England, and Premier League clubs are optimistic about the possibility.
TEAMtalk recently reported, citing sources, that Arsenal are interested in Kolo Muani and are keeping an eye on him for a potential move in January.
The report also mentions that a £50 million bid could be enough to secure Muani’s signature next month, which would be a bargain given he joined PSG from Eintracht Frankfurt for £76 million in 2023.
