Aston Villa sensation completes high-profile move to Al-Nassr

Saudi Pro League side Al-Nassr have completed a reported £64.5m deal with Aston Villa for 21-year-old Jhon Durán.

The striker joined the midlands outfit back in 2023 from MLS side Chicago fire, for a fee of around £17.75m.

Since then, the Colombian has delighted Premier League audiences with some stunning finishes in his 'supersub' role from off the bench.

Netting 20 times in 78 total appearances for Villa, his stock has risen dramatically, and it was also reported that West Ham had a £57m bid for Durán rejected.

Durán won the Aston Villa Goal of the Month award on five separate occasions, including scooping three consecutive honours in August, September, and October 2024.
