Athletic: Rashford’s agent holds talks with Milan amid Man Utd exit wish – the situation | OneFootball

Marcus Rashford’s entourage have held ‘exploratory talks’ with AC Milan about a potential loan move there, according to a report.

According to the latest from The Athletic, Dwaine Maynard – Rashford’s brother and agent – flew to Milan on Tuesday to hold discussions with the Rossoneri leadership over the possibility of a January switch.

Talks are described as being ‘at a preliminary stage’, with Borussia Dortmund also in the running to land the forward. Milan’s directors had just landed back from Saudi Arabia, where the team won the Supercoppa Italiana 3-2 by beating rivals Inter.

Juventus are also ‘weighing up a move’ to recruit the England international, who now seems to be completely out of favour at Old Trafford under Ruben Amorim, but it is the Rossoneri who have held the talks with his camp.

Milan are ‘assessing what opportunities the winter market has to offer’ after sacking Paulo Fonseca and replacing him with Sergio Conceicao, who won a trophy after just two games in charge out in the Middle East.
