Atlético Madrid could welcome a key member of the club’s backline back into the fray for their upcoming meeting with Sevilla.
That’s according to Mundo Deportivo, who point towards Nahuel Molina as the player in question.
Right-back Molina has for his part been sidelined since last month, owing to a muscular injury suffered whilst on international duty with Argentina.
The 26-year-old had since been spotted back out on the grass early this week, giving rise to hope of an incoming return to the pitch.
And, as alluded to above, on Tuesday, as much moved a significant step closer.
As per a report from MD:
‘During Tuesday’s session, the player worked alongside one of the recovery coaches, on one of the fields next to where the first team was training. A long, tough recovery session, in which he showed that he is very recovered.’
All going according to plan, Molina, in turn, will be given the medical green light to face Sevilla this weekend.
