Raphinha is enjoying one of the best seasons of his career at FC Barcelona, becoming one of the main figures of Hansi Flick’s setup this season.
The 28-year-old winger, who arrived at the club in 2022, has already bagged 24 goals in the ongoing campaign from 35 matches in all competitions – more than what he managed in his first two seasons combined.
Raphinha’s total tally for Barcelona now stands at 44 goals from 122 matches, in addition to 40 assists.
As such, Raphinha is on the cusp of breaking into Barcelona’s top-five Brazilian goalscorers of all time.
Indeed, the 28-year-old is now just three goals shy of the iconic Ronaldo Nazario, who stands as the fifth-highest goalscorer for Barça, with 47 strikes to his name.

Rivaldo (130 goals between 1997 and 2002), Evaristo de Macedo (105 goals between 1957 and 1962), Neymar (105 goals between 2013 and 2017), and Ronaldinho (94 goals between 2003 and 2008) are still further ahead for the winger, who is also one of the club captains.
Raphinha has already gone past another Brazilian great, Romario (39 goals), this season and given his terrific form it is only a matter of time before he surpasses Ronaldo’s goal tally for the club and becomes the all-time fifth-highest goal-getter for the club.
Raphinha’s impressive improvement this season has even sparked Barcelona to start working on his contract renewal, even though he still has more than two years left on his current deal.
The Catalan giants are planning to offer him a new deal until 2029 with an increased salary that will kick in from next year.
