Barcelona pulled off a remarkable 4-3 comeback win over Celta Vigo after trailing 3-1 at home in La Liga on Saturday afternoon.
Scorers: Torres 12', Iglesias 15', 52', 62', Olmo 64', Raphinha 68', 90+8 (P)'
It was a lightning start from the hosts as Ferran Torres opened the scoring after 12 minutes, picking the ball up in midfield and driving forward before unleashing a strike into the bottom corner.
Barcelona's lead was short-lived, however, as Celta Vigo quickly responded, with Borja Iglesias beating an onrushing Wojciech Szczęsny to a dangerous cross and firing into an empty net.
Hansi Flick's side were left stunned early in the second half when a mistake from Frenkie de Jong gifted the visitors an opening, allowing Iglesias to score his second goal of the afternoon.
The Celta Vigo forward then added a third with a run from his own half, becoming the second player in a week to score a hat-trick against Barcelona, following Serhou Guirassy’s exploits for Dortmund in the Champions League.
Barcelona wasted no time in responding, as Dani Olmo clawed one back shortly after, before fellow substitute Lamine Yamal set up Raphinha for an equaliser with 20 minutes left to play.
Flick's side were inches away from losing the game in the final minutes, as Celta Vigo substitute and former Barcelona player Óscar Mingueza somehow headed wide from a yard out.
But it was Barcelona who had their 'remontada' moment this week, as they were awarded a stoppage-time penalty after a VAR review, which Raphinha coolly converted to make it 4-3 at the death.
The result means Barcelona remain top of the standings and seven points clear of Real Madrid, who take on Athletic Bilbao on Sunday evening.
