La Liga giants Barcelona are expressing a keen interest in the signing of a member of the defensive ranks at Crystal Palace.
That’s according to Diario Sport, who point towards Tyrick Mitchell as the player in question.
Full-back Mitchell, for his part, has played a leading role for Crystal Palace across the season to date, featuring from the off in all 17 of the Eagles’ Premier League fixtures.
And the 25-year-old has been widely praised for the level of his performances to date.
So much so that, according to reports, interest in his signature has spread all the way to Spain.
As per the aforementioned Sport, Barcelona have joined Premier League pair Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur in the hunt for Mitchell’s services.
The Blaugrana are known to be on the lookout for a backup to Alejandro Balde for next season, with the Englishman having seemingly been identified as a leading option.
Mitchell, as things stand, could be snapped up without a fee attached, ahead of the expiration of his contract terms at Selhurst Park next summer.
