Barcelona president Joan Laporta has this weekend forwarded a message of assurance to Dani Olmo.
As much, of course, comes amid the club’s ongoing efforts to register their summer signing for the 2nd half of the La Liga campaign.
The name of midfielder Olmo has taken its place front and centre in the headlines in Catalunya’s capital across the week to date.
This comes as the deadline for Barcelona to register the midfielder for the remainder of the term inches ever closer.
On Friday, word was forthcoming that the Blaugrana’s latest appeal to The Commercial Court had been rejected, a considerable blow for club and player alike.
Olmo has now returned to base in Spain following his Christmas holidays, in the knowledge that, as things stand, he will be ineligible to line out for Hansi Flick’s side moving forward.
On Saturday, Barca chief Joan Laporta therefore moved to send reassurances the way of the Spanish international.
As per a report from Diario AS:
‘“We will fix it whatever it takes.” That is the message that Barça, with its president, Joan Laporta, in the first person, has transmitted to Dani Olmo in the last few hours.’
