The semi-final field of the Copa del Rey is complete after some exhilarating action in opposite corners of the Iberian peninsula saw Real Sociedad and Barcelona see off Osasuna and Valencia respectively.
Bitter rivals Atlético de Madrid and Real Madrid were already through to the semi-final before tonight's action, with Barcelona hoping to match the pair with a possible date against one of them in the final of the competition.
Real Sociedad, who came into their fixture in a poor run of form in La Liga having lost four of their last five while sitting mid-table, will have hoped to progress as a way to salvage something from an otherwise frustrating 2024-25 campaign.
Here is how things went down this evening in Spain thus far.
Scorers: Torres 3', 17', 30', López 23', Yamal 59'
For the second time in less than two weeks, Barcelona smashed Valencia during their 5-0 drubbing of Carlos Corberán's relegation candidates.
Former Valencia starlet and academy graduate Ferran Torres once again drove a dagger into the heart of his boyhood club when he slotted home from close range to put Barça one-nil up inside four minutes.
Torres would complete his brace on the volley 14 minutes later, helping Barcelona once again put Valencia to the sword for the second time in less than two weeks.
Fermín López also got in on the action to complete the result before the half-hour mark after a delicious ball by Gavi put him through on goal, with only a simple finish remaining to guarantee passage into the semi-finals.
It would be Torres to pop up again while completing his hat-trick on the night to see Barça through after just 30 minutes, putting in a fantastic stand-in performance while Robert Lewandowski enjoyed the night off.
Barça teen sensation Lamine Yamal nearly made it five to the good on the night just seven minutes after the restart, but the La Masia flag-bearer would instead be denied a sensational goal by the post.
Yamal would not be denied, however, when a bit of fortune fell on his shoulders when his tame effort from inside the area would stumble over the line after Dimitrievski could not get a strong enough hand to it.
Mercifully, the goalscoring flood waters would recede by the final whistle, with Hansi Flick's men surely boosted by the result before Sunday's trip to Sevilla.

Scorers: Barrenetxea 21', Méndez 31'
Sent off: Catena 35'
Real Sociedad booked passage into the semi-finals of the Copa del Rey after a straightforward 2-0 win over Osasuna at Reale Arena.
Academy product and local boy Ander Barrenetxea set the home side away in the 21st minute when fellow youth sector graduate Mikel Oyarzabal turned provider to give him his seventh goal of the season across all competitions.
Erreala bagged their second of the night ten minutes later thanks to Brais Méndez after Oyarzabal picked up a loose ball in Osasuna's defensive third after a bad giveaway before squaring to Méndez to tuck away into an empty net.
It went from bad to worse for the visitors after centre-back Alejandro Catena had his initial yellow card upgraded to a straight red after consultation with VAR deemed his high boot worthy of a sending-off.
In the end, it all finished comfortably for Imanol Alguacil's men in the second stanza despite the scoreline cemented at 2-0, with the club now facing the prospect of a clash with Barcelona in the final should the Spanish giants do the business at Mestalla.
