Barcelona defender Ronald Araújo has penned a new deal at the Camp Nou which will keep him in Catalonia until 2031, the club have confirmed.
The Uruguayan had been strongly linked with a move to Serie A side Juventus in the January transfer window, but opted instead to remain with the Blaugrana and has now further indicated his loyalty with a new deal.

Now back from the hamstring injury that saw him miss much of the campaign, Araújo is expected to be a key figure for Hansi Flick's side across the second half of the season.
