Barcelona star Lamine Yamal is yet to link back up with the rest of Hansi Flick’s squad in group training.
That’s according to Diario Sport, who have on Wednesday provided an insight into the latest developments behind the scenes in Catalunya’s capital.
Attacker Lamine was for his part condemned to a spell on the treatment table early last month, after suffering a sprained ankle en route to Barcelona’s shock La Liga defeat at the hands of Leganés.
At the time, a return timeline somewhere in the region of three to four weeks was set for the Spanish international.
Reports over recent days had suggested that the plan was for Lamine to return to group activities at The Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper on Wednesday.
As confirmed by Sport, however, this did not prove the case.
Instead, it is reported that:
‘In the coming sessions, the homegrown player could appear on the pitch at the Ciutat Esportiva,’ with a view to playing his part at the upcoming Spanish Super Cup.
