Barcelona ‘studying the signing’ of Edward Cedeño | OneFootball

The brass at La Liga giants Barcelona are taking into consideration the signing of an up-and-coming midfield talent.

That’s according to Diario Sport, who point towards Edward Cedeño as the player in question.

Cedeño, for his part, is a 21-year-old deep-lying midfielder, who is currently plying his trade with Tarazona in the Primera RFEF.

The Panama U23 international has stood out as one of the finest performers in the division across the season to date, with his performances against Barca Atlètic having piqued the attentions of those behind the scenes at the Camp Nou.

So much so that, if the latest word stemming from the media is anything to go by, the Blaugrana could launch an assault for Cedeño’s signature this summer.

As per a report from Sport:

‘Barça are studying the signing of one of the great pearls of Panamanian football, Edward Cedeño. Tarazona will activate the player’s purchase clause in June by paying 350,000 euros before selling immediately and his destination could be the Blaugrana club.’
