The draw for the knockout stages of the Champions League has been completed, and Barcelona fans should be feeling incredibly happy with the outcome.
Things in Hansi Flick's maiden campaign at the helm haven't always been smooth, but Barcelona remain one of the favourites to go all the way in this competition and their chances may have been boosted by managing to avoid showdowns with most of Europe's heavy hitters.
Here's a look at Barcelona's route to the 2024/25 Champions League final after Friday's draw.

Waiting for Barcelona in the last 16 are Portuguese giants Benfica, who provided one of the best games of the play-offs as they battled to a 3-3 draw with Monaco which saw them beat the French side on aggregate.
Former Real Madrid winger Angel Di Maria is still strutting his stuff for Benfica at the age of 37, while fans may enjoy a closer look at rumoured left-back target Alvaro Carreras. If either of these ties come close to the staggering nine-goal thriller these two sides played out in the league phase, we're in for a treat.

Barcelona are the favourites to make it to the quarter-final, and they'll retain that tag at this stage too as they'll come up against either Borussia Dortmund or Lille.
Hansi Flick's side beat Dortmund 3-2 in the league stage and would back themselves to secure a more comfortable victory next time out, while Lille, whose squad includes former Barca stars Samuel Umtiti and Andre Gomes, may find their focus lies elsewhere amid a battle to qualify for next season's competition.

The toughest test for Barcelona on this side of the bracket will be saved for the semi-final, where Bayern Munich will come to town if they can get through their tough test with Xabi Alonso's Bayer Leverkusen.
Inter and Feyenoord will both be looking to make this spot their own, but Bayern are the favourites and they'll be determined to secure the chance to avenge their 4-1 defeat to the Blaugrana in the first phase of the competition.

Here's where Barcelona fans will begin to appreciate the side of the bracket on which they have fallen, with four of the top contenders to win this competition all battling it out across the earlier rounds.
One of Real Madrid, Arsenal, Liverpool or Paris Saint-Germain are likely to make it all the way to the final but must navigate a side of the bracket which also includes Aston Villa, Club Brugge, PSV Eindhoven and Atletico Madrid if they want to set up a meeting with Barcelona in May.
