Inter Milan and Bayern Munich face off in the Champions League quarterfinals this month.

It certainly promises to be a marquee tie in the quarterfinal round.

Inter and Bayern are among the most decorated clubs in Europe, historically speaking.

And the current league leaders in Serie A and the Bundesliga respectively are among the teams who came into the current campaign among the favourites to lift the Champions League.

Meanwhile, both Inter and Bayern are dealing with some notable injuries ahead of next Wednesday’s first leg clash.

Bayern in particular are in full-on crisis mode ahead of the clash.

One player who is available for Bayern Munich is striker Harry Kane.

The 31-year-old former Tottenham Hotspur striker is the Bavarians’ top scorer this season.

Kane made clear that “our goal is to succeed.”

“And to achieve that, we need everyone.”

Kane said of Bayern’s injury crisis at the moment that “it will be up to the players who don’t play as often.”

“But there are no excuses. Every team deals with injuries and absences.”

Bayern striker Harry Kane made clear that “we’ve managed these situations well throughout the season.”

“Now is not the time to stop,” added the English international.

Harry Kane admitted that he’s “dreamed” of winning the Champions League “practically my entire life.”

“Doing it at our home stadium would make it even more special,” added the 31-year-old.

“I think it’s brilliant to have the chance to do something like this. But first, we have two big, tough matches ahead of us against Inter.”

“We’ll have to be ready,” Kane made clear. “Knowing that on our day, we can beat anyone.”

The Englishman said that “We’ve already shown that.”

“But here it will be a question of being consistent over the first and second legs. Then we’ll see what we can get, keeping in mind that we all have extra motivation.”
