Barcelona held their final training session to prepare for Saturday’s La Liga clash against CA Osasuna at Estadi Olimpic Lluis Companys.

Having played Benfica in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday, the Blaugrana held a recovery session on Thursday before holding a full session today.

And, according to Mundo Deportivo, the most encouraging sight for Hansi Flick was the presence of Gavi and Alejandro Balde, both training with the squad normally.

Gavi missed the game against Benfica due to a fever that had prevented him from training earlier this week as well as kept him on the bench for the win over Real Sociedad last weekend.

Meanwhile, Balde picked up a knock during the game against Benfica, leading to doubts about his availability for tomorrow’s clash vs. Osasuna.

However, it seems there will be no new injury concerns, as Balde and Gavi were both actively involved in training.

It would mean that Barcelona manager Flick will have a full squad available, apart from the long-term absences of Marc-Andre ter Stegen and Marc Bernal, as well as Andreas Christensen, who suffered a relapse of his calf injury last week.

Barça are currently leading the La Liga table, with a one-point advantage over second-placed Atletico Madrid and two clear of reigning champions Real Madrid.

However, with the game against Benfica coming up next week, rotations are expected, which could see Balde getting benched in favour of Gerard Martin, although Gavi might start if Flick opts to rest Pedri and Dani Olmo.
