Former Roma midfielder Edoardo Bove was back on his old stomping grounds in last night’s Lazio-Fiorentina.

After last night’s match between Lazio and Fiorentina, while the Viola fans were waiting to leave the stadium safely, journalists and guests – including Flavio Ognissanti – witnessed an emotional and completely unexpected scene.

On the now deserted pitch of the Stadio Olimpico, after the match was over, Edoardo Bove made his return to the pitch.

At that moment, the stadium was silent, and Bove enjoyed the pitch alone, walking calmly, as if he wanted to savor every moment of that special return, in an atmosphere that no one expected.

An intimate and meaningful moment for the young midfielder, still unable to play following the illness he suffered during the match against Inter and the subsequent operation in which a subcutaneous defibrillator was implanted.
