The Robins announced the news via a post on their official club website just a short time ago.
Bristol City head coach Lauren Smith has opted to draft in the former Norwegian youth international following injuries to Fran Bentley and Kaylan Marckese. Bentley has been sidelined with an injury since early last month while on-loan Arsenal goalkeeper Kaylan Marckese is now also out for a period. Haaland will provide competition for Bristol City’s goalkeeping jersey alongside Olivia Clark.
Haaland has gained plenty of experience playing throughout Europe. In addition to her previous spell at Bristol City, the keeper has also played in Norway, Switzerland, Iceland, Italy and Scotland.
After sealing her Bristol City return, Haaland said “I’m really pleased to be back with Bristol City. I enjoyed my time here and I’m looking forward to getting back into it because it’s a club and city that’s very special to me.
“The girls have all welcomed me into the group so well and it’s been really nice to reconnect with some familiar faces too.”
Haaland has been named amongst the substitutes for Bristol City’s latest Barclays Women’s Super League fixture against Everton at Walton Hall Park this afternoon.
