Milan Futuro's first point (and first goal) in Serie C came against Carpi in September. The season gets back underway for the young Rossoneri against them at the Cabassi in the first game of 2025 and the second of the latter half of the season. This is a big opportunity to start the year off best and pick up important points. Introducing the fixture is our Match Preview.
LATEST FROM MILAN FUTURO The Rossoneri arrive at their first game of the new year after working well at Milanello with the aim of turning things around and picking up the points needed to escape the Playout zone. Coach Bonera has no players suspended (only Minotti is on a booking) but will need to take those involved in Conceição's First Team into account. It will be the first game for new Rossoneri arrival Andrea Magrassi, the expert 31-year-old forward arriving from Citadella and having played for Cavese, Pontedera, Ravenna, Virtus Entella and Virtus Verona in Serie C.
LATEST FROM CARPI Back in Serie C from last season, Carpi are cruising in the middle of the table in a constant limbo around the bottom spots in the Playout zone. The Emiliani have been at their best away from home: their last win at the Cabassi was on October 29, 2-1 against Arezzo. The Christmas break was enriched by news from the transfer market: Cortesi renewed his contract, while former Forlì winger Visani plus midfielders Casarini (Turris) and Campagna (Ascoli) joined the club. Beware of forward Gerbi who has scored 7 goals this season. No one is suspended, four players on a booking: Contiliano, Forapani, Puletto and Tcheuna.
"Milan Futuro have a few players in the First Team", said Coach Serpini, "despite the low position in the table I believe they'll avoid relegation. We have had some issues with illness, it will be important to have the same mental approach as in the first half of the season. We will need to always be in the game, playing at the same level and knowing how to suffer united".
WHERE TO WATCH MILAN FUTURO ON TV In Italy, the match will be shown live on TV via Sky Sport and NOW. The coverage via Instagram, AC Milan Official App and acmilan.com shouldn't be missed.
LATEST FROM SERIE C Carpi v Milan Futuro will be refereed by Cappai (one previous experience with the Rossoneri, at Primavera level: Genoa 2-1 AC Milan last season) who will be assisted by Cantatore and Galieni. The fourth official will be Frazza.

On Sunday 5, aside from Carpi v Milan Futuro, there are three games: SPAL v Perugia at 12:30 CET and Legnago v Campobasso and Torres v Pescara at 15:00 CET. Closing out the schedule on Monday, Epiphany, will be Arezzo v Vis Pesaro, Pianese v Ascoli and Virtus Entella v Rimini at 15:00 CET, as well as Ternana v Pontedera at 17:30 CET.
