Mohamed Bayo (26) has hardly had a look-in at Lille OSC this season. Following the completion of his season-long loan at Le Havre AC, he returned to Lille in the summer but has found his chances highly limited. He has just 216 minutes of game time in Ligue 1 and just 75 minutes in the UEFA Champions League.
Frustrated with his situation, Foot Mercato understands that the striker wants to leave Lille this January. Should Bayo leave LOSC this month, there would be no shortage of takers, the publication understands. In Ligue 1, strugglers SCO Angers and Montpellier HSC are both interested in the former Clermont Foot centre-forward, whilst FC Metz, looking to secure promotion back to Ligue 1 would also be a taker.
There is interest from abroad too in the form of Royal Antwerp, Como and Scottish Premier League side Celtic. All would be interest in a six-month loan for Bayo, however, Foot Mercato understands that, for now, Les Dogues are not open to a departure.
