According to a report from Mohamed Toubache-Ter, Chelsea are considering a move for RC Strasbourg Alsace’s Emanuel Emegha (22).

The Dutch forward has taken a step up this season under the tutelage of Liam Rosenior and looks to be one of the promising forwards in the league. Last season, Emegha scored nine across 31 games in all competitions. This year, that number has improved to 12 in 24 games.

Emegha’s latest was a well-taken strike that came in the 4-2 victory over Olympique Lyonnais, a result that saw Strasbourg leapfrog their opponents and position themselves only a point off the Champions League spots.

Emegha’s improvements, coupled with Strasbourg’s rise as a Champions League contender and one of the most exciting teams in France, likely caught sister club Chelsea’s attention. The Premier League team are in the market for a striker and have been linked with several high-profile targets in recent rumours out of England.
