Chelsea must bounce back from midweek humiliation when they visit Fulham in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.

The Blues were already in questionable form before losing to Polish outfit Legia Warsaw in the second leg of their Conference League quarter-final tie. While Enzo Maresca's side had done the hard work in the first leg as they established a three-goal lead, defeat at Stamford Bridge on Thursday saw Chelsea booed off the field.

Their attention returns to domestic duties on Sunday as they visit their west London rivals at Craven Cottage, with victory of paramount importance in the race for Champions League qualification. They must raise their standards from Thursday night to have any hope of conquering their neighbours.

Here is how Chelsea could line up for a critical encounter.

GK: Robert Sanchez - Filip Jorgensen gifted Legia their early penalty midweek and inexplicably failed to rebuff the tame spot kick. Sanchez will return to the lineup against Fulham seeking a more impressive showing than his deputy.

RB: Malo Gusto - Reece James was utilised in midfield on Thursday and Josh Acheampong took residence at right-back. Gusto, who came on in the second half, should start at Craven Cottage up against the in-form Alex Iwobi.

CB: Trevoh Chalobah - Chelsea appeared to have turned the corner defensively in recent weeks but conceding four to Ipswich Town and Legia back-to-back has brought them down to earth. Chalobah must help get things back on track.

CB: Levi Colwill - Colwill was gifted the night off midweek and will be well-rested for the upcoming battle with Rodrigo Muniz. The Fulham forward scored the winner in the reverse fixture and often proves a tricky customer.

LB: Marc Cucurella - The Spaniard continued his excellent goalscoring form midweek and would have had another if it wasn't for VAR's intervention. His late darts into the penalty area have proven effective in recent games.

DM: Moises Caicedo - Caicedo, an apparent target for the Saudi Pro League, will be tasked with stifling fellow South American Andreas Pereira at Craven Cottage and supressing Fulham's playmaker could be the difference between defeat and victory.

DM: Enzo Fernandez - Fernandez has been a handy provider in the final third over the past month for club and country, with the Blues needing some magic from the Argentine on Sunday.

RW: Noni Madueke - Madueke's goals during the first leg with Legia helped the Blues avoid an even nervier return clash at Stamford Bridge. The Englishman needs to transfer his goalscoring to the Premier League.

AM: Cole Palmer - Chelsea's poor form hasn't been helped by the increasingly concerning performances of their talisman Palmer, who is desperately short on confidence heading to Fulham.

LW: Pedro Neto - Neto is another Chelsea forward who needs to up his attacking output, with the Portuguese having failed to register a goal or assist since the end of February.

ST: Nicolas Jackson - Jackson is yet to score since returning from injury post the March international break. Christopher Nkunku is hardly knocking on the door to replace him, though.
