The future of Ante Rebic is something that AC Milan will look to resolve this summer, and it seems that there is interest from the Bundesliga.
Calciomercato.com report how Rafael Leao’s explosion last season the injury issues meant that it was not a successful season for the Croatian, who scored three times in the league. However, he hit double figures in the previous two campaigns and head coach Stefano Pioli strongly believes in him.
The report adds that Pioli still considers Rebic to be central to his plans, so then the choice of whether or not to stay with the Rossoneri will be down to the player. Paolo Maldini is already planning a meeting with his entourage in June to figure out what he is thinking regarding the future.
Wolfsburg have come forward and made an enquiry having just hired Rebic’s old coach at Eintracht Frankfurt, Nico Kovac, who would like to bring him back to the Bundesliga and make him a key man in his new project. Milan are in no hurry and would only consider offers that are significant from an economic point of view.
