Tammy Abraham has showcased what he can give AC Milan in the past few weeks, and the club plan to speak with Roma about a permanent deal.

Corriere dello Sport (via MilanPress) write this morning that Abraham, with full merit, has become the starting striker for Milan towards the end of the season. This is not to detract from his abilities, but the fact Alvaro Morata and Santiago Gimenez arrived made it difficult to imagine.

The Englishman has started to bring regular goals and assists, and with his work rate plus his commitment he plans to not only keep the starting place he has been given but also earn a future at Milan beyond this season.

The Rossoneri’s hopes in front of goal are entrusted to Abraham, who has double digits in goals for the season. The other starting strikers in 2024-25 were Morata and Gimenez, but their goal return is not 10 as Tammy’s is.

He also has seven assists to his name, meaning that on average Abraham contributes to a goal every 98 minutes. The former Chelsea man is becoming decisive, and in a month Milan and Roma will sit down at the negotiating table to see if the conditions exist to make things permanent.
